Notes
The Prickly Ash or Aralia spinosa is a tree native to eastern North America. The tree has dangerously sharp thorns on the trunk and branches, leading to the folk names "Devil's Walking Stick" and "Hercule's Club." The Iroquois tribe valued the rare tree for its fruit.
