In 1926, New Yorker Jacob Kowalski carried a brown leather suitcase full of pastries into a bank order to convince the loan manager Mr. Bingley to give him money for a future bakery.
- British wizard Newt Scamander just happened to visit the same bank while trying to track down his wayward Niffler, which was pilfering coins and money from the bank vault. Realizing that No-Maj Jacob had seen too much magic, Newt tried to erase his memory, but Jacob knocked him down and fled, accidentally stealing Newt's case full of dangerous magical creatures instead of his pastry case (WFT).
