It's deeply frustrating that magic can't solve every problem. There are so many laws students have to memorize--no conjuring food from thin air, don't go back in time more than five hours (looking at you, Albus and Scorpius)... in general, no tampering with things you don't understand. Magic provides conveniences. You can apparate to work! But it isn't boundless. (You can't apparate inside Hogwarts.) Using magic has consequences, and some witches and wizards disregard those consequences.
