Hermione and Ron Kiss

"Is this the moment?" Harry asked weakly, and when nothing happened except that Ron and Hermione gripped each other still more firmly and swayed on the spot, he raised his voice.  "OI!  There's a war going on here!"

Ron and Hermione broke apart, their arms still around each other.

"I know, mate," said Ron, who looked as though he had recently been hit on the back of the head with a Bludger, "so it's now or never, isn't it?"

In the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone movie, Emma Watson delivers the quotable line, "Now, if you two don't mind, I'm going to bed, before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed--or worse, expelled."  Rupert Grint follows with, "She needs to sort out her priorities."  This is not actually a book quote--Ron responds instead, "No, we don't mind....  You'd think we dragged her along, wouldn't you?" (PS09)  However, it's fun to remember that moment in the context of this satisfying culmination of their romantic relationship.  Harry would agree that, in this moment, Hermione (and Ron) need to sort out their priorities.
