Events
In First Year, Harry and Hermione drag a baby dragon up this tower, carrying him in a crate. Although they brought the Invisibility Cloak to the top with them, they left it there, and were given detention by Filch. During Umbridge’s reign, the students taking their Astronomy OWL witnessed the Headmistress try to fire Hagrid from his position; this turned quickly into a duel. Professor McGonagall was seriously injured. Death Eaters conjured a Dark Mark high above the tower to lure Dumbledore to it on the night of his death.
Harry visits the Ravenclaw common room, accompanied by Luna Lovegood, in the last book of the series in order to see a statue of Ravenclaw wearing her diadem. It has no set password; instead, the door presents anyone seeking to enter it with a question. If the answer is correct or “well-reasoned” then the door will open.
Secrets and Spells
Dumbledore’s office is filled with mysterious instruments. One of these is the Pensieve, which allows Harry to view memories that belong to other people (Snape and Dumbledore). The staircase leading to the Gryffindor girls’ dormitory turns into a slide and makes a loud noise if approached by boys.

Notes
These maps takes the details from the books into account as well as the standard structure and architecture of castles. While not canon, this map is certainly one of the most well-researched and historically accurate blueprints of Hogwarts that anyone could create.
