The morning after Ron quit the trio’s search for Voldemort’s Horcruxes, Harry and Hermione stalled for a bit before Apparating to their next campsite: a “windswept heather-covered hillside,” where Hermione promptly sat down and cried as Harry cast protective enchantments around them (DH16).
A few weeks later, still on the run, Harry and Hermione stopped on a second hillside. They were in much the same grim mood, though, thinking about their near-disaster at Godric’s Hollow the previous night, and Harry feeling lost with his wand now broken (DH18).
