Magical knitting needles are shown in the Chamber of Secrets film when Harry first arrives at the Burrow with Ron and the Twins after they have rescued him from Privet Drive in the flying Ford Anglia. The film implies that Molly Weasley uses the knitting charm to make all those Weasley sweaters as Christmas gifts.
