At the Ministry of Magic, Hermione Granger holds a meeting with Draco Malfoy, Harry Potter, Ginny Weasley and Ron Weasley to discuss what to do about the missing children Albus and Scorpius. After Draco and Ginny start shouting at each other, Harry admits that Albus may have run away as a result of their argument and taken Scorpius – who Draco says is a “follower not a leader” – with him (CC1.17).
Timeline Notes
This is the day after Albus and Scorpius escape from the Hogwarts Express and visit the St Oswald's Home - so during 2 September 2020.

Notes
Hermione Granger reports that the Food Trolley Witch is upset at this failure of her "Hogwarts delivery record" and thus letting down Ottaline Gambol, who had given her the job. Hermione has also informed the Muggle authorities that the children are missing - something that Draco Malfoy is not happy about (CC1.17).
