Upon finding out that he will be serving detention in the forbidden forest Draco seemed to think that his father would have an issue with that. After Hagrid basically tells him that this is the way things are done at Hogwarts, and that his father would be fine with it, Draco drops the subject. But, would Lucius Malfoy have been ok with this form of punishment? I believe that Hagrid thought this form of punishment is ok, but he also thought he could keep a dragon in his hut. I wonder what Mrs. Longbottom, or the Grangers thought about their children going into the forest. --EJ
