"Tom Riddle didn't emerge from his dark place. And so Tom Riddle became Lord Voldemort. Maybe the black cloud Bane saw was Albus's loneliness."
-- Draco Malfoy (CC2.15)
With Ginny Weasley on hand to keep the peace, Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter have a conversation about their sons and about friendship.
Draco admits he has trouble talking to Scorpius since his wife Astoria died. He had always envied the friendship between Harry, Ron and Hermione at school. Without friends, Albus could end up in a dark place (CC2.15).

Notes
This event takes place during the Roseless timeline, as described in the essay "Albus Potter and the lesson in Quantum Mechanics" by Nick Moline.
Draco only had Crabbe and Goyle during his time at school - and they were not really adequate for a truly equal friendship. Ginny Weasley also admits that she envied the trio's friendship as well. This surprises Harry (CC2.15).
This is the first time that Harry and Draco have a civilised conversation with each other - and it turns out that they are able to talk about parenting and growing up. It feels like they have finally realised what they have in common after so many years of being enemies (CC2.15).
