- A village in which, according to legend, Antioch Peverell travelled immediately upon obtaining the Elder Wand, where he promptly killed his enemy and then had the wand stolen from him that very night (DH21)
Muggle villages:
- Budleigh Babberton
- Little Hangleton
- an unnamed Muggle village where orphans were taken on holiday by Tom Riddle’s orphanage, not far from the seaside cave where Voldemort later hid one of his Horcruxes (HBP26)
- A village that Voldemort flies over while searching abroad for Gregorovitch, which Harry sees through his eyes (DH7)
other villages:
- A merpeople’s village under the Hogwarts lake, to which Harry once swam (GF26)
