"....the Dukuwaqa bit first."
-- the opinion of Arnulf Moe, Norwegian Team Manager, reported in the Daily Prophet (Pm:Quidditch)
The Dukuwaqa is a shape-shifting creature which can change between a shark and a man.
Appearances
It is native to Fiji and was the Fijian team’s representative mascot at the 2014 Quidditch World Cup.
A “bloodbath” took place during the 2014 tournament’s Opening Ceremony when the Dukuwaqa and the Norwegian Selma were placed in the same lake and proceeded to attack each other. Several of the other teams’ mascots (the Brazilians’ Curupiras, the Nigerians’ Sasabonsams and the Haitians’ Inferi) became added to the ensuing havoc. This resulted in the crowd stampeding to escape, with over three hundred casualties. The incident was reported in a Daily Prophet article written by Ginny Potter, and revived the long running controversial debate on whether there should be restrictions on the mascots of national Quidditch teams (Pm:Quidditch).

Notes
The similarly-spelled Dakuwaqa is a shark-god from Fijian mythology and also a shape-shifter. The creature is the god of seafaring and was greatly respected by fishermen, whom he protects from the dangers of the sea (Wikipedia).
The Dukuwaqa is not included in Newt Scamander's encyclopaedia "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", however his Magiczoologist grandson Rolf was able to comment that:
"The Dukuwaqa lives in a warm ocean, the Selma in an icy freshwater lake. The former is a shape-shifter that can transform from fish to man, the latter is a serpent that devours human flesh and fish. You would need the brains of a Billywig not to foresee an immediate bloodbath if both were crammed tightly together in tepid, brackish water." (Pm:Quidditch)
