Dragon Eggs

The eggs of a dragon are used for various purposes including, of course, hatching baby dragons.

• Dragon eggs are Class A Non-Tradeable Goods (FB)
• Antipodean Opaleye dragon eggs, which are pale grey, may be mistaken for fossils by unwary Muggles (FB).
• Chinese Fireball dragon eggs are bright red and speckled with gold. The shells are much prized for use in Chinese wizardry. Many uses of Chinese fireball eggs, when powdered, were discovered by Quong Po (FW).
• Welsh Green dragon eggs are brown with green speckles (FB).
• Hungarian Horntail eggs are colored flat gray and have particularly hard shells (FB).
• Norwegian Ridgeback eggs are black (FB, PS14).
