Professor McGonagall correctly anticipates that Harry will be famous throughout the Wizarding World for escaping his first encounter with Voldemort and forcing him to retreat into hiding indefinitely. This fame plagues Harry for the rest of his life. Professor Snape never truly escapes the idea that Harry enjoys his fame, and he punishes him for it periodically. Ron occasionally has a difficult time dealing with living in the shadow of his older brothers and his best friend. Draco Malfoy resents the (perhaps accurately) perceived favoritism that many teachers show Harry. Gilderoy Lockhart tries obnoxiously to mentor Harry in dealing with his fame. Albus Potter grows up with severe insecurities that are rooted significantly in his father's fame.
