The books somehow jumble the symbols a little, giving Salazar a medallion, Helga a cup, Rowena a tiara and Godric a sword, but I went with the elemental configurations of the characters, and there Slytherin is Water, Hufflepuff is Earth, Gryffindor is Fire and Ravenclaw is Air.

Salazar Slytherin looks rather Latin here. He looks more dashing and eccentric than evil.
