USA VERSUS BRAZIL
-- headline, Evening Prophet, 5 July 2014 (QWC)
In contrast to the previous day, the second semi-final day saw thrilling play by the Brazilian and American teams, with both seemingly re-energised following the sleep break. Brazilian Keeper Raul Almeida’s saves prevented the American Chasers from running away with the scoring. In the end, it came down to an exciting race for the Snitch, which was won by Brazilian Seeker Tony Silva. The final score was Brazil 420 – USA 310 (QWC).
