A wizarding family. Notable members of the Tonks family include Andromeda Tonks, a pure-blood witch, her husband Ted, a muggle-born wizard, and their daughter Nymphadora. The family suffered much in the Wizarding Wars of the 1990s. Ted was killed while on the run and both Nymphadora and her husband Remus Lupin died in the Battle of Hogwarts. Their son Teddy is being raised by his grandmother.
