Elphinstone Urquart

Elphinstone Urquart was Minerva McGonagall’s boss at the Ministry of Magic where she worked for a time after leaving Hogwarts. Later, he proposed to her and — after first refusing him — eventually she accepted and they married. Ephinstone and Minerva lived for three years in Hogsmeade until his accidental death from a Venomous Tentacula bite.
