"I offered him nice odds, considering Ireland's front three are the strongest I've seen in years"
Ludo Bagman, taking bets at the 1994 Quidditch World Cup (GF7)

In Muggle rugby, the forwards who make up the first row in a collision with their opponents are referred to as the front row. By extension, the “front three” in Quidditch or Muggle football terms means the three players who will be first to meet the opposing team.

Ludo Bagman uses this term to refer to the Irish National Team's Chasers at the 1994 Quidditch World Cup (GF7).
